Leggings In Middle School, Acceptable, or Not?

I wore leggings in middle school.. It was just that you had to make sure that it wasn't see through and that you covered up your behind. They still don't just openly allow you to wear leggings without a shirt covering your behind in high school and the age group is from 14-18.

I think having a shirt that just covers your butt in middle school is acceptable. I just got out of middle school and a ton of girls wore short shirts with leggings and the guys would always stare at their butts.

There's no specific clothing restriction for boys because they don't wear tight clothing that shows off their bodies like that... I believe it is acceptable in middle school. I didn't like wearing them in middle school because guys stared at my body. Classmates AND teachers and it makes me uncomfortable, even though they werenn't banned, I only wore them for dance class. In high school, though, I've become more comfortable with it. Because guys are more mature, it's not gross when they stare, lol. Could you imagine a 6th grade, 11 year old boy staring at your butt?? Anyhow, dress code is dress code. Girls will always be asked to follow more restrictions because we wear more revealing things. You won't see a boy who wears pants that show off his tight ***. Maybe a shirt that's tight enough to show muscles (and those are not acceptable at most schools, too.) The who idea is that it is school. You are here to learn, not distract others in clothes that are skimpy. They are comfortable but they are also very revealing to your shape. They leave little for the imagination, since they are so close to the skin.
