Wash on a gentle cycle in cold water and air dry.
Wash and dry them correctly keep them out if direct sun when wet. Use soft hangers to dry and store knits and tops.
I follow this method with all if my clothes whatever their price was.
And as above use gentle fabric cleansers and hand was cycles on your washing machine. Or gentle ones
A lot depends on the fabric. But if you have a gentle cycle or hand-wash cycle on your washing machine, use that. Turn them inside out and for heaven sakes, no shirt needs to be dried for an hour. Put them in the dryer on low for 5 minutes tops. Take them out while damp. Give them a shake and hang them up to dry completely.
