I hope you are able to find a pair of Tory Burch flats you like. If you normally wear a size 39 or 40 then you would be about a size 8 1/2 or 9 in US sizes. I have several pairs of Tory Burch flats in many different styles. These are the Tory Burch styles I have; Reva, Caroline, Eddie and Pacey. I normally wear a US size 10 in most flats. It has been my experience with Tory Burch flats to go up a half size and sometimes a full size. About half of my Tory flats are US size 10 1/2 and the others are 11's. Definitely try them on but I suggest going up in size. Good luck.

Well, you can ask the salesladies, they shouldn't get annoyed. They are doing their job!
