I'm sorry but I don't think it's a big problem. Just whatever you have to wear it because you're not wasting 60 bucks as you said. usually i just wear any neon colored bra under any shirt ( whether it's dark or light ) and even if the color of the bra still shows i don't think it's a big deal. It's not like no one wears bras or knows what they are.
Wearing a white bra can be tough on occasion. Try wearing a thicker top. As said, try staying away from dark, thin tops wear the bra might show through. Try wearing layered tops. Or try wearing a top with a "busy" print to it. And a multi colored top works well too. Particularly with said busy pattern to it.
because of your white bra you can use white dress or any kind of clothes which are not so thin. than after your problem will not be solved i think you should make it a habit to wearing a white bra.
Sometimes I wear tanktop then the shirt I want to wear. Layers can be experimental & fun.
i suggest wearing a vest top underneath a shirt so it wont show , otherwise black block colored shirts will work best , experiment with what you think is better for you as everyone has there own preferences
White is usually good for pastels...anything light but not white. Anything dark and the white might show through the shirt. If your white bra is still showing through the shirt, it might be because the shirt is too thin.
