It's not that there isn't a hole it's just you haven't learned to put new earrings in. Once you practice you'll be able to do it without any problems. Try to just put the earring in without pulling or tugging on your lobe.

Yes, if you put the earring in at even slightly the wrong angle you won't line-up with the back hole. Easily done, just ask someone else to watch you, not do it for you but guide you. Practice so you can feel where it's meant to go.

Your supposed to wait 6 months..

Just move it around until you find it. or you could put them in backward. Make sure you do it in front of a mirror. Its easier.
